Leaders and Employees are burning out at record rates. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, almost 50% of employees, and 60% of leaders have reported experiencing symptoms of burnout at work. While organisations are making great strides in improving workplace wellness through the introduction of mental health programmes – burnout is fast becoming another ‘business pandemic’ which leaders can no longer afford to ignore.
For the last 20+ years, Caroline has dedicated her career to exploring the intersection between leadership and personal mastery with a particular focus on burnout prevention and conscious leadership.
Before embarking on her successful career as a management consultant and Executive Coach, Caroline was a senior executive in one of the most maverick organisations in the world - Richard Branson’s Virgin Group. She was responsible for spearheading the set up and launch of Virgin Atlantic Airways in South Africa in record time which Richard himself hailed as one of the most successful launches in Virgins history. Her own experience with executive burnout and her subsequent journey of recovery and discovery has, today, made her a thought leader in terms of burnout prevention, conscious (vertical) leadership and sustaining cultures of vitality, authenticity, and innovation.
