What is Full-Time?
Full-Time is a mode of learning where students attend lectures, classes, and tutorials during the day from Monday to Friday. Their studies take up most of their weekly schedule. Students will also dedicate a large chunk of their time to readings, assignments, and other tasks. The minimum duration of study for this mode is 1 year for higher certificates and 3 years for a degree programme.

Tips for successful full-time studies
Lean on your lecturers
Lecturers are there to impart their expertise and guide you on your academic journey. Don’t be afraid to approach them and ask questions.
Join societies, work readiness programmes and other extra-curricular activities
A large part of the full-time study experience is obviously about academics. However, it’s important to enjoy the full campus experience whilst building a network for after you complete your qualification. Work readiness programmes can help you with essential post-school skills such as creating a CV and interview skills. Extra-curricular programmes help you to grow a network of like-minded individuals and connections that can help you in the real world.Time Management
Manage your time with intention and practice it daily. Use your goals to guide the way you manage your time. Avoid procrastination, keep on top of assessments and due dates. You may feel overwhelmed and tired at times but remember to focus on the result. After completing your qualification, you are set on your path in your future career. All your hard work, time and effort will all be worth it.Identify your task.
Measurable: How will you measure your goal.
Achievable: Create realistic goals that you can control.
Relevant: Focus on goals that will guide you toward your idea of success.
Time-bound: Set a deadline for yourself and stick to it.
Embracing Blended Learning
By combining online learning with traditional teaching, blended learning gives you the best of both worlds. The traditional experience with teacher-led lectures, in-class discussions, one-on-one sessions and the flexibility to access anywhere you can, keeping up with the curriculum with online learning.Work on your learning style
University is very different to school as you’re more independent and a lot of your studies, you need to put the work in to gain understanding with things like prescribed reading. It is essential to keep up with your readings, assessments, and tutorials, as these are the steps working up to exams. It’s as though you begin to learn, how to learn all over again. Create study habits to help build your confidence in your field of study and in succeeding academically. - Develop a routine - Give yourself time to study - Take breaks - Write notes / Rewrite notes - Try various methods like highlighting, reading out loud or flashcards - Keep up with your to-do list, don’t skip stepsTry new things
If you’re studying something with an array of electives, why not broaden your horizons and explore different things? Read, research, and delve deeper into your studies, exploring different options and opening yourself up to a world of knowledge.Socialise
Make friends and socialise with individuals in your classes, in other faculties and different years. Surround yourself with like-minded people, some may share the same goals and values, or their motivations may be slightly different, but you get to learn and grow with them. This could be a great opportunity to help one another in your field of study, creating study groups, sharing notes for exams and creating a solid support system.Available Qualifications
