Admission to Eduvos requires meeting the minimum criteria for your chosen qualification. If you don’t meet those requirements, our dedicated admissions team is here to help you find alternative pathways, so you can still pursue your dream qualification.

Eduvos/Vossie Points, or you may formally know them as Admission Points Score (APS), are a measure of your performance in your National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination as it relates to the requirements for a particular qualification to which you may apply.

If you have not complied with the minimum statutory matriculation requirements for admission to a bachelor’s degree, please contact one of our Higher Education Consultants for alternative paths of admission.
The NCV (Level 4) subjects must relate to the degree for which you intend on enrolling.
Admission into Eduvos is dependent on prospective students meeting the specified minimum admission requirements for their chosen qualification. If students don’t meet these minimum requirements, our HEC’s can assist in alternative study options.
For BSc Honours in Information Technology:
Admission into Eduvos is dependent on prospective students meeting the specified minimum admission requirements for their chosen qualification. If students don’t meet these minimum requirements, our HEC’s can assist in alternative study options.
Students with Mathematics Literacy (50% or more) must enrol for, and complete, Introduction to Mathematics and Mathematics for Degree Studies B (IT) before attempting Mathematics 1A. Students with Mathematics (less than 50%, but greater than 30%) must enrol for, and complete, Mathematics for Degree Studies B (IT) before attempting Mathematics 1A.
A student with Mathematics Literacy (50% or more) must enrol for and complete Introduction to Mathematics and Mathematics for Degree Studies B (Commerce).
A student with Mathematics (less than 50% but greater than or equal to 30%) must enrol for and complete Mathematics for Degree Studies B (Commerce).
The specific undergraduate qualification should preferentially include, but not limited to, these modules or their equivalence: • Programming in Java, C# or Python • Software Process, Architecture Design and Quality Assurance • Database Systems Design, Implementation, and Management

A recognised undergraduate degree or equivalent for the specific Honours degree, which should include Business Management and/or Strategic Management at third year level as well as Accounting, Economics and Statistics at first year level.
