Eduvos Employability Centre: making graduates real-world ready.
Developing employable graduates is a top priority at Eduvos. That’s why we have an Employability Centre that offers work readiness programmes and career services, ensuring when our students graduate, they are ready for the world of work.

Our work readiness programmes include webinars and workshops throughout the year that assist students in writing a CV and cover letter, interview preparation and developing their soft skills. We also offer networking opportunities in the form of careers fairs, hack jams, exhibitions and IT coding clubs. Since we have forged good relationships through indusry partners and connections, we are able share internships opening with our students – and often even job opportunities.
Our Midrand campus recently hosted the Annual Industry Breakfast where a panel of industry leaders and entrepreneurs offered interview skills, career advice and even one-on-one sessions with our students.
One of the panellists included Eduvos alumni and IACD facilitator, Jason Petrie. “I had a nice relationship with a lot of the lecturers who work there. People to call on, people to go to for assistance. That’s a staple across Eduvos, lecturers who are willing to help and not just do their job.”

This sentiment was also shared by students who attended the breakfast. “Eduvos makes it their mission to help us understand what we’re doing and also their mission to help us get more experience.” Annie Kabanga, Eduvos BSc in Computer Science student.
As of October 2022, 71% of accessible graduates were either successfully placed in the job market or pursued further studies. We shared 120 of these success stories of graduates who secured employment, launched their own businesses or studied further on social media via our ongoing Talent Tuesday series. Overall, Eduvos graduates seized 240 opportunities across 54 companies.

“Employability is not just one thing, it’s the whole package. It’s their qualifications, it’s their soft skills, it’s the way they articulate themselves. So, the aim is to support the students with 21st-century employability skills so that they are prepared for the world of work when they are done with their qualifications.” - Marna Wessels, National Employability Lead for Eduvos
