Post by Eduvos, January 25, 2023.

We are proud to announce that our Eduvos Nelson Mandela Bay campus has officially opened its doors to a brand-new location. To celebrate the Grand Opening, we hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony this past Saturday, 21 January, at our new address, 96 Second Avenue, Newton Park.

Upon entering the gates, you were immediately met with our Edu-vibe; welcomed with ice-cold blue slush puppies, music, balloon arches and our team of excited Eduvos staff, eager to showcase the new space.

The incredibly talented learners from Lawson Brown High School entertained the crowd with their steel band, creating a wonderful atmosphere and bringing a unique sound and vibe to the event. We were also joined by Algoa FM who brought the gees and got the crowd excited for the day’s events and gave away cool prizes to our prospective students.

Attendees enjoyed delicious food from the Melted Fusion food truck and cooled down with much-needed soft serve from Cones & Cups.

Siegie Brownlee (Eduvos CEO), Dr Tony Matchaba-Hove (NMB Campus General Manager) and Kevin Lazarus (Tyger Valley Campus General Manager) officially opened the campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by speeches expressing how proud Eduvos is to have this opportunity to upgrade and ensure the growth of higher education in the Eastern Cape.

“Being in Nelson Mandela Bay, we find it apt to quote Nelson Mandela himself as he always spoke of Education and the power Education has to change the world and that is why we are here, shaping potential student by student towards Africa's prosperity.” - Dr Tony Matchaba-Hove

The new NMB campus boasts a fresh and exciting start for new and current students. The state-of-the-art facilities include computer labs, a Graphic Design studio, lecture rooms and a social area, encompassing a vibrant and diverse student experience and a great space for learning to come to life.

Nelson Mandela Bay offers degrees, higher certificates and pre-degree foundation programmes within the faculties of Commerce & Law, Humanities and Information Technology. Prospective students can choose between Full-Time, Online, Part-Time and Self-Paced.

Matrics of 2022, Eduvos is always open for applications! The NMB campus is open Monday to Friday and every Saturday. The enrolment team are ready and standing by to welcome you and make your career ambitions a reality.

Eduvos also has a second campus in the Eastern Cape, at 12 Stewart Drive, Berea, East London where students can also enrol and experience our Edu-vibe.
