Celebrating Eduvos at the JB Marks Education Trust Graduates Gala Dinner.

Eduvos was privileged to stand as one of the select private institutions funded by the JB Marks Education Trust.  

The JB Marks Education Trust is an essential institution in South Africa's efforts to promote education, uplift marginalised communities, and foster social and economic development. Their primary objective is to empower deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds by offering scholarships, bursaries, and financial aid to help them access quality education and training opportunities. Addressing historical educational inequalities and contributing to developing a skilled and educated workforce in South Africa.  

Over the past few years, JB Marks has consistently provided funding support to Eduvos students, fostering a partnership that has progressively strengthened over time. 

Recognising Eduvos as a pivotal strategic partner, we had the honour of receiving an invitation to the Graduates Gala Dinner on the 18th of August at Emperors Palace. The ceremony celebrated a cohort of 95 accomplished graduates, 4 of whom were Eduvos graduates. The event saw Eduvos Bachelor of Science in Biomedicine graduate, Sibongile Constance Ngwenya awarded with the Merit Award for her exceptional performance. 

Eduvos took centre stage during the acknowledgement of the event sponsors, reaffirming our commitment to the partnership and its significance. Our participation in the event underscores our unwavering appreciation of JB Marks and the Vossies the trust supports. Moreover, we garnered increased visibility among the numerous companies in attendance, fostering stronger bonds and reaffirming their enduring commitment.  

This Graduates Gala Dinner event distinguished JB Marks from other bursary providers. While financial support for students is invaluable, hosting an exceptional annual graduation awards ceremony sets JB Marks apart. The meaningful gesture created indelible memories for the students, highlighting JB Marks Education Trust's extraordinary commitment beyond mere financial assistance.
