South Africa is one of the most diverse countries in the world, with so much to offer, from incredible landscapes, diverse cultures and rich history to world-class higher education. Our country has become a destination for international students looking to expand their educational opportunities as it holds a standard for academic excellence.
Affordability
You will find that studying in South Africa is quite affordable. Our exchange rate is considered favourable to international students, as our currency (the South African Rand, ZAR) is very weak compared to most strong currencies.
With the cost of living being significantly lower than in most places across the globe, you’ll find that these costs are dependent on the area you choose to study in. Smaller towns and cities are more affordable than the bigger cities.
We’ve tabled an average monthly cost for one student.*

Accommodation
Accommodation opportunities vary based on the campus you choose to study at in South Africa.
If you’re looking at studying in Johannesburg, we have partnered with Respublica, which offers student housing adjacent to our Midrand campus. Alternatively, DigsConnect can also help you find student housing in various areas in South Africa. For more information on accommodation facilities at our individual campuses, get in touch with your campus of choice.
Safe Learning Environment
As a private institution, we put our students at the centre of their learning journey; your safety comes first. Our facilities are access-controlled with 24/7 camera surveillance, providing a safe and secure environment for our students to engage in academic content and campus activities.
Student Experience, Wellness & Support
Our student experience is of paramount importance to us, and we realise that learning isn’t restricted to the classroom. At each of our campuses, we have many opportunities for students to join local clubs such as Performing Arts, Golf, Netball, Peer Mentoring, Choir, Debate Club, and so much more. Joining a club can help students adapt to higher education as well as a new cultural environment. Our Student Representative Councils (SRC) on campus host several events throughout the year to really create a Vossie spirit and comradery.
“The infrastructure, classes and the way modules were set up really made my study experience that much more engaging. The student advisors showed interest and checked in with me.”
- Chitsanzo Mbewe, Eduvos Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and English) Graduate.
We avail ourselves to equip our students with the skills and necessary support to cope and thrive in challenging circumstances and environments. We arrange regular events and workshops to facilitate this, in addition to the facilities and services available to support students to both complete the academic part of their journey as well as support life skills. Some of these include:
Our 12 multicultural campuses across the country have become gateways to global connectivity, having welcomed and educated students from over 75 countries and counting. Pre-enrol to study in 2024, at Eduvos, there will always be a friendly face to welcome you and make you feel at home.
