Join us at our upcoming Open Day to experience tailored support firsthand on Saturday, 27 July 2024, from 09:00 to 13:00 at all 12 campuses across South Africa. The theme of this Open Day is centred around “wellness”; we want you to get to know how you will be supported throughout their academic journey at Eduvos.
Attending the Eduvos Open Day is an excellent opportunity for you, your parents, and sponsors to immerse yourselves in our vibrant community. Whether you are interested in our accredited qualifications, state-of-the-art facilities, or comprehensive wellness services, there is something for you.
Our campuses are lively hubs for various student activities and clubs, including choir, debate clubs, poetry slams, soccer teams, and esports tournaments. Eduvos Esports has established itself as one of the largest higher education leagues in the country.
We understand that student wellness is a key component of academic success, and it stands as one of Eduvos's paramount priorities, epitomising our commitment to holistic education. Our partnership with Universal Healthcare deepens this commitment and is integral to our wellness initiatives. This partnership brings the innovative u360™ programme, providing access to personalised wellness assessments and tools, 24/7 telephonic access to psychologists and counsellors in all 11 South African languages and virtual consultations with healthcare professionals. Integrating these support services is important for helping our students manage stress and develop resilience, giving them all the resources they need to help finish their studies.
In addition, our Student Affairs Advisors are here to help guide you through your academic journey. We’re ensuring our Vossies have access to the support they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
According to a recent study, undergraduate students in South Africa reported the highest levels of depression, stress, and anxiety and these were associated with financial status and social life (17). It is therefore important that we ensure our students have access to mental health services for screening and early treatment.
We are big advocates for wellness and ensuring you have support every step of the way, whether you’re a prospective or a current student. Download a copy of our Wellness PDF printable, designed to reduce stress and ease your mind.
