Eduvos Midrand Hosts IRM Event on Climate, Energy, and AI Challenges.

We’re thrilled to share that our Eduvos Midrand campus will host the upcoming Resilience Amid Climate, Energy, and AI Changes event, collaborating with the Institute of Risk Management (IRM). The event will address important issues by exploring strategies for climate change resilience, energy challenges, and the impacts of AI on risk mitigation. 

At Eduvos, we don’t just commit ourselves to shaping the leaders of tomorrow, we aim to expose our Vossies to conversations addressing real-world problems. As part of our ongoing strides to bring industry conversation to the classroom, this event allows students to engage in meaningful dialogue on pressing issues and critical-thinking skills. These are not just topics for debate; they are the challenges that will shape the future of our world. We are creating opportunities for our students to engage directly with expert panellists.

In addition to hosting the event, Eduvos will be represented on the panel. Dr Miné De Klerk, National Manager for Design and Future Learning at Eduvos, and Dr Nyx McLean, National Research Committee Chair at Eduvos, will participate in the discussions at the event.  

Dr de Klerk heads up our AI committee and has extensive international consulting experience in online learning and emerging technologies. Dr McLean drives impactful change through research and focuses on digital technology, social justice, and climate change, advocating for equitable and sustainable solutions.
