Eduvos Nelson Mandela Bay Drives Social Change with Zanethemba Charity.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Campus recently signed an affiliation agreement with the Zanethemba Charity Foundation, an esteemed haven providing safe care for abused, abandoned, or neglected children. Students will have the opportunity to volunteer at Zanethemba, contributing to the well-being and development of these deserving young individuals.
At Eduvos, we believe in the power of community engagement and social responsibility. By partnering with organisations like Zanethemba, we're able to extend our impact beyond campus walls and make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Through NMB’s newly established Community Service Learning club, students will have the chance to engage in meaningful volunteer work at Zanethemba. Whether it's providing educational support, organising recreational activities, or simply offering companionship, our students will play an integral role in nurturing the growth and happiness of the children at Zanethemba.
To ensure our Vossies are well-prepared for their volunteer experiences, we're collaborating with the National Wellness team to conduct a specialised workshop. This workshop will equip our students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and sensitivity to effectively engage with and support the children at Zanethemba. We believe that by investing in our students, we can maximise the impact of their volunteer efforts and foster a culture of compassionate service.
We're incredibly excited about the opportunities that this partnership presents. Together, we're not only providing valuable support to those in need but also cultivating a sense of empathy, compassion, and social responsibility among our Vossies.
