Eduvos is revolutionising the conventional concept of summer school with the introduction of our innovative NextGen Mastery Programme. Breaking away from the norm, this conference will provide an interactive learning experience aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of our current students.
The conference will take place from January 22 to February 2 before classes start for Block 1 of the 2024 academic year. All the sessions will be hosted online so that students from all 12 campuses can participate.
The NextGen Mastery Programme is a testament to Eduvos’s commitment to preparing our students for the working world and will cover 14 topics that will add to students’ regular coursework. The course is seen as an add-on to students’ studies and the topics have therefore been carefully chosen to ensure the sessions are not just repeating what they learn in their everyday classes.
The topics will include:
Digital Safety and Cyber Security
Control Your AI Destiny: AI Made Easy
Fundamental Programming Concepts
Financial Literacy and Personal Finance
Digital Marketing and Social Media Management
Professional Communication and Presentation Skills in the Workplace
Essential Soft Skills in the Workplace: Emotional Intelligence
Creativity and Innovation: Aspects of Design Thinking

Applied Sciences and Technology in 2050 – Our World Re-imagined!
Introduction to Academic and Essay Writing
The programme is designed to be an immersive learning experience where practical skills can be learned. We recognise the need among students for more real-world knowledge. The sessions are structured around real-world issues, ensuring students gain insights and skills vital for success beyond Eduvos’s walls.
The sessions will be led by esteemed guest speakers, both internal and external. They will bring their knowledge and experience to create an interactive environment where students can engage, learn, and network.
This programme highlights our commitment to student employability. By bridging the gap between academia and the professional world, we’re empowering our students with a diverse skill set and a broad understanding of real-world challenges. Upon completion, participating students will receive a certificate that they can add to their CVs.
The conference is open to all current and returning Eduvos students. For more on the programme schedule, contact Anne Nel at anne.nel@eduvos.com.
