We are excited to welcome our 2024 first years for the Block One intake. As campuses are ready to welcome what we believe will be a record number of students, we wanted to highlight a star performer who will be joining Eduvos.
Mieke Beyers matriculated from Hoërskool Zwartkop in Centurion with the six distinctions she aimed for in 2023 and will study at our Pretoria campus.
Mieke says that a friend recommended Eduvos to her while she was deciding where to study. “I chose a private institution because I believe it offers more safety and stability. Private also usually means fewer students and smaller classes which leads to more effective lectures.“
She is going to study a Bachelor of Commerce as she wanted to keep her options open. “I chose this field as I am still unsure of my career path but still want to pursue a degree.”
Eduvos’s internationally recognised qualifications were also a reason for Mieke choosing the institution. “I hope to move overseas after my studies and travel for a few years before specialising in the field of my choosing.”
Mieke looks forward to meeting her fellow Vossies and entering higher education. “I am most looking forward to meeting new people and making new connections,” she says. “I am excited to be in a completely new environment and can't wait to see what my future at Eduvos holds.”
If you’re still looking to enrol in 2024, it’s not too late. We still have space for you at Eduvos. Orientation and Induction for first-year Eduvos students will take place from 12 to 23 February and classes officially begin on 26 February.
