Whether you’re a recent accounting graduate or a seasoned professional working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), our new Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA or CTA2) will support you in reaching your career goals. This comprehensive programme gives you the support and preparation time needed to master the competencies in the SAICA qualifying examinations and start a rewarding professional journey. The programme is accredited/endorsed by SAICA, which means that completion of the PGDA allows entry into SAICA’s first qualifying examination–the Initial Assessment of Competence.
Your Pathway to Becoming a CA(SA)
At Eduvos, we’re committed to delivering transformative educational experiences that empower students beyond the classroom. Our PGDA programme is the only SAICA-accredited/endorsed Self-Paced in South Africa, offering you a unique self-paced pathway to becoming a Chartered Accountant CA(SA). Guided by a team of accomplished academics, you’ll develop the skills and insights necessary to master the competencies in the SAICA board exams and your career as a CA(SA).
The self-paced PGDA allows you to start your studies at any time, adjust your pace, and even pause or resume whenever you need to. You can even defer your exams and extend your studies until you feel confident and ready to write. You will continue to have access to all course materials and will be supported by your lecturers throughout this time with no additional fees.
Our PGDA is fully accredited by the Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC) of the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). We provide detailed lecture videos, summary notes, and past exam question papers in every subject including Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and Finance, Auditing, Governance and Ethics, and Taxation.
What the PGDA Means for Eduvos
This PGDA reaffirms Eduvos as a leader in higher education and a champion for future Chartered Accountants. This qualification reflects our dedication to academic excellence and relevance in a competitive industry. By offering a PGDA, we’re empowering aspiring accountants with the skills and credentials to become successful CA(SA) professionals, further solidifying our position as a top choice for career-focused qualifications.
"Our Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting is more than just a qualification; it's your catalyst to a career that impacts South Africa. We’re proud to offer the only self-paced programme in the country that truly supports our students as they prepare to become Chartered Accountants and leaders in their field," says Riaan Berger, Head: Graduate School of Accounting.
Flexible Learning with One Flat Fee
One of the key advantages of the PGDA at Eduvos is its flexible, self-paced structure, allowing you to study entirely at your own pace, whether full-time or part-time. With intakes every three weeks, you can join at any time during the year and choose to complete the course over 12 months (full-time), and 24 months (part-time), or extend your studies at any time for up to 36 months with no additional cost. Regardless of your chosen pace, the programme’s single flat fee allows you to revisit course material as often as you need, ensuring you feel confident and well-prepared for the SAICA qualifying examinations.
Our dedicated team will support you throughout the programme. With their extensive experience in accounting education, they have led some of the country’s top accounting programmes, producing high pass rates in the SAICA board exams.
