Why did you decide to study at Eduvos and the qualification you chose?
During my decision-making process for choosing and applying to universities, I carefully considered various factors such as academic reputation, programme offerings, campus environment, and career prospects. Two of the main reasons I chose Eduvos were its exceptional reputation in the field of Commerce & Law and because of its proximity to my home. Eduvos perfectly aligned with my educational and professional goals.
What has your experience at Eduvos been like?
During my time at Eduvos, I had a transformative and enriching experience that exceeded my expectations in several aspects. From the moment I set foot on campus, I knew I had made the right choice for my education. One of the standout features of Eduvos was its commitment to academic excellence and work readiness. Eduvos boasted a team of highly qualified lecturers who were experts in their respective fields. Their passion for teaching and dedication to student success was evident in every lecture and interaction. They were always eager to help and guide me through this journey. Faculty members were approachable, encouraged critical thinking, and fostered an engaging learning environment. They challenged us to think beyond textbooks and encouraged us to apply our knowledge to real-world scenarios, preparing us for the challenges we would face in our future careers.
Why did you choose to study at a private institution?
Private institutions often offer specialised programmes that focus on specific fields of study, such as my field of business and law at Eduvos. Their programmes are designed to meet industry demands and provide a more in-depth and comprehensive education in the chosen field. For me, private institutions often have smaller class sizes, allowing for more personalised attention from lecturers and support staff and a collaborative learning environment. This contributed to a higher level of academic excellence and a tailored educational experience. As mentioned above, Eduvos prioritises individualised attention and support for students. As well as their extensive alumni networks and connections in various industries. Providing valuable career opportunities, internships, and mentorship programs. These strong networks and connections open doors for internships, job placements, and networking opportunities. I am currently on the Eduvos Alumni WhatsApp group and regularly get sent possible opportunities. Which I think is very much needed in today’s world of work.
What do you feel makes Eduvos unique?
Eduvos places a high value on student well-being and support. They provide comprehensive support services, including academic support, counselling, and career guidance. Additionally, they prioritise student feedback and actively involve students in decision-making processes, ensuring that their voices are heard, and their concerns addressed. Innovative learning approaches were another thing that stood out to me at Eduvos as they embrace innovative teaching and learning approaches to enhance the educational experience. For instance, they have integrated technology into the curriculum, offering online courses, quizzes, and interactive digital resources to name a few. These methods foster engagement, flexibility for those who work, and personalised learning, catering to diverse student needs and promoting a dynamic educational environment.

Additionally, foster connections with your lecturers and fellow students. Collaborate on group projects, participate in study groups, and build a network of peers who can support and inspire you throughout your learning journey.
Do you plan on studying further?
Yes, I am an academic at heart and will always continue studying. I graduated with Magna Cum Laude and received the Top Achiever Award, which I am very proud of, it was a great journey. I am currently studying towards my CIMA Level 1 qualification and I’m actively doing courses at my workplace, Old Mutual, to broaden my knowledge and expertise in financial planning and advice-giving career. In the future, I would like to get my qualification in financial planning and do my honours in Business Management, and ultimately get my MBA. Perhaps I will also do my LLB as well. The options are endless, and I am looking forward to delving into these courses. I might even further my studies at Eduvos.
Would you encourage others to study at Eduvos?
Yes, but it's important to note that the decision to study at a private institution ultimately depends on individual preferences, financial considerations, and career goals. It's essential to research and carefully evaluate the specific offerings, reputation, cost, and support services provided by each institution to make an informed decision that aligns with your educational aspirations and personal circumstances. Also, if it feels right and sparks joy then I would say go for it!
