The Pre-degree Foundation Programme bridges the gap between school and postschool education. It provides a sound foundation in a range of skills needed for higher education studies at Eduvos.
You will develop a theoretical understanding of, and practical skills in English language and comprehension, numeracy and the use of computers and technology. You will also learn how to study, conduct research and be a successful student. The core subjects are Student Skills, Academic English, Introductory Mathematics, Development Studies and an Introduction to Computer Skills. You will also choose two faculty-specific elective modules from a range of introductory topics including Commerce (Economics), IT, Science, Graphic Design and Psychology.
The programme is designed to offer access to each of our faculties, aligned to the admission requirements for each degree. Much of the success of our Pre-degree Foundation Programme is due to our unique blend of lecture-led learning, Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL), our smaller interactive classes and cutting-edge facilities such as campus resource centres and computer labs.
Within this supportive environment, you will also start developing essential skills for life as a student and for the world of work. You will learn how to analyse and solve real problems, apply logic, be innovative, work in teams and communicate effectively.
