Flexible learning, limitless possibilities. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree prepares you for work in many disciplines and is an excellent foundation for careers in human resources, public relations, communications, teaching, psychology and political science.

Our BA degree is a broad and flexible qualification, rounded in t he behavioural and social sciences. This degree aims to develop critical thinking and provide you with an in-depth understanding of human behaviour from different perspectives. You will be introduced to both the fields of general and industrial psychology and will have a choice of Human Resource, English or Politics as a second major. As you progress to third year, you will learn how to apply theoretical knowledge gained throughout the duration of this degree to real-world contexts.

Entry requirements
• You need a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Bachelor degree entry;
Or
• If you have an international school-leaving certificate, you need to provide a certificate of exemption issued by Universities South Africa (USAF).
Or
• You should have successfully completed the relevant Eduvos or any other approved foundation programme. On successful completion of the foundation programme, students are required to apply to Universities South Africa (USAF) for a certificate of exemption in order to be admitted to a degree programme.
Or
• You should have successfully completed a relevant higher certificate qualification..
And
• You need 25 or more Eduvos points.
• You need 50% or above for Grade 12 English.
